Weapons can be found all throughout the environment along with other kinds of loot, and rarity will impact their power. Common weapons will not have any bonus effects.
The Ranger is an all-around balanced class. It is the starting Javelin that all players have access to. It is equipped with a shock mace as its melee weapon. With access to every weapon type, the Ranger is a true wild card that can complement any team and any mission.

Anthem Class – Colossus
The Colossus is analogous to a ‘tank’ class, trading mobility for extra firepower. Slower than other Javelin types, it can be equipped with weapons such as a grenade launcher or flamethrower. It cannot be equipped with pistols.

Anthem Class – Storm
The Storm is analogous to a ‘mage’ class. While fragile, the Storm can utilize elemental abilities (Cryokinetic, Electrokinetic and Pyrokinetic abilities). The Storm can hover longer than any other Javelin and but it is exceptionally vulnerable to melee damage.
Anthem Class – Interceptor

The Interceptor is one of the game’s lighter suits. The Freelancer’s gender will not affect its appearance in-game. It can be considered analogous to a ‘rogue’ class, as its agility greatly supersedes other Javelins. It is designed for melee combat, where the player should hit and run, as the Interceptor is very fragile

Legendary and masterwork weapons are the best guns you can get in Anthem. They have the best stats, the most power, and the most interesting perks and effects. You’ll only be able to obtain them later on in the game, either through crafting or loot drops, and a lot of people are interested how legendaries from their chosen weapon class behave. All masterwork & legendary weapons
All of these weapons can only appear in masterwork and legendary variants. Both versions will have the masterwork effect/perk, but the legendary one will have better stats. Here’s the full list, with names, types and effects:
